Sally Penrose and Jennifer Parsons will speak on this webinar with regulators from Bermuda and Cayman Islands and will discuss some of the latest changes in law, from economic substance to fund registration, to AML.

Sally is a Partner within the Corporate department and heads the Bermuda regulatory practice advising clients including financial institutions, global corporations, professional and public bodies on a wide range of regulatory and licensing issues. Sally is a leading advisor on economic substance issues and has been actively involved in the Economic Substance Task Force established by the Minister of Finance. Sally is also a member of the Registrar of Companies working group responsible for drafting the economic substance guidance notes. Sally also has wide corporate experience acting for corporates and management teams on multi-jurisdictional mergers, joint ventures and acquisitions.

Jennifer is Counsel within the Corporate department in Cayman. She specialises in providing regulatory advice to clients within the banking, investment fund and fund administration, insurance and securities sectors. Jennifer also has extensive experience advising hedge funds, hybrid funds and private equity funds, top tier investment managers, administrators and other fund service providers on all aspects of fund formation, ongoing regulation and compliance, restructuring and termination.
