Bio
Kasia Smith is a Senior Associate and a member of the Corporate Team within the BVI. She assists on a wide range of corporate and finance transactions including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, investments, disposals and various types of restructurings.
Kasia joined the group in July 2016. Prior to that she worked at Simpson, Thacher & Bartlett LLP, in-house at Goldman Sachs International as well as gaining corporate, funds and litigation experience in a number of well-established US city firms in London.

Qualifications & Education
Kasia graduated from Queen Mary University of London with a 2:1 (Hons) degree in Law and was awarded the Cambridge University Press Prize for the highest mark in Competition Law in her final year of study. She then went on to complete her Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, London and her Training Contract at Fasken Martineau LLP where she was admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2009.
