Críona is an Associate in the Corporate practice group in the Cayman Islands.
She advises on a wide range of corporate and finance matters including mergers, sales and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity investments, corporate restructurings, corporate governance and corporate finance transactions.
Críona joined Appleby in August 2023. Prior to this, she worked in Matheson LLP in Dublin as an Associate on the Corporate M&A team where she advised on a number of transactions across a variety of sectors and provided general corporate advice.

She advises on a wide range of corporate and finance matters including mergers, sales and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity investments, corporate restructurings, corporate governance and corporate finance transactions.
Críona joined Appleby in August 2023. Prior to this, she worked in Matheson LLP in Dublin as an Associate on the Corporate M&A team where she advised on a number of transactions across a variety of sectors and provided general corporate advice.

- advising Fanatics Betting and Gaming, on its acquisition of the U.S. operations of Australian sports betting company, PointsBet;
- advising the 101-bed Sports Surgery Clinic in Dublin on its sale to UPMC;
- advising nAperte DAC t/a Omnium, Dublin-based investment technology firm, on the investment by Shard Capital International, a leading asset and wealth manager;
- advising Shutterstock Inc, a leading global creative platform, on its acquisition of the Irish business of PicMonkey, a leading online graphic design and image editing platform;
- advising Sitecore Inc, the global leader in digital experience management software, on its acquisition of Boxever, the Dublin-based data analytics company;
- advising Speed Fibre Group, an Irish investment vehicle focused on telecoms infrastructure and communications services provision, on its acquisition of Magnet Networks Limited, Ireland’s leading telecommunications company;
- advising on the acquisition of Weston Airport in Leixlip, Dublin;
- advising Warsteiner Brauerei Haus Cramer Management GmbH on its investment in Rye River Brewing Company; and
- advising Orpea S.A. and DIF Capital Partners on their respective acquisitions of a number of nursing homes in Ireland.
