Richard has a wealth of experience in all aspects of corporate and commercial law, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, reorganisations, investments and disposals and corporate advisory and governance advice. Prior to joining Appleby, Richard practiced at a top tier law firm in London where he advised a wide range of clients, from owner managed businesses to large international corporates. Richard completed his GDL and LPC at The College of Law (The University of Law) in London, and holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) from Herriot-Watt University (Scotland). Richard is a member of the Bermuda Bar and is also admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales.
George advises on all aspects of corporate and commercial law, including corporate finance, digital assets, capital markets, and mergers and acquisitions. Before joining Appleby, George practiced at another offshore law firm in Bermuda, and prior to that he practiced in the international business department at a top tier Barbados law firm. George holds an LLB from The University of the West Indies (Barbados) and a Bachelor of Arts with major in History from Northern Caribbean University (Jamaica). George was admitted to the Barbados Bar in 2018.
Rawan advises on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance and corporate governance. Prior to joining Appleby, Rawan practiced at a Canadian law firm, where she advised clients on corporate re-structuring, commercial agreements and general corporate governance matters. Rawan holds a Juris Doctor from University of Windsor and a Bachelor’s degree from University of Waterloo (Canada). Rawan is a member of the Law Society of Ontario.
