Lawyers designated as Global Elite obtained the highest number of nominations from peers, corporate counsel and other market sources in WWL’s most recent research cycle, and is an accolade achieved by only around 5% of WWL-listed practitioners.

Carlos, who is head of Appleby’s Private Client and Trusts practice in the Cayman Islands, is recognised for his expertise within the private client field, while Andrew, who is head of the firm’s Dispute Resolution practice in the British Virgin Islands, is included for his work within the asset recovery space.

According to this year’s report, all recognised lawyers are: “worthy of special mention owing not only to their vast expertise and experience advising on some of the world’s most significant and cutting-edge legal matters, but also their ability to innovate, inspire, and go above and beyond to deliver for their clients.”

Commenting on their recognition, Carlos and Andrew said: “It is an honour to be recognised as Global Elite Thought Leaders within the private client and asset recovery sectors. We are both part of fantastic teams in the Cayman Islands and the BVI so our individual recognition is also testament to the hard work, expertise and dedication of our colleagues.”

The full list of globally recognised lawyers is available from the WWL Thought Leaders – Global Elite website.
