Vanessa, Partner and Group Head of the Private Client & Trusts practice in Bermuda, is considered ‘a go-to trust lawyer in Bermuda’ and someone who ‘always provides timely and user-friendly advice’, while another source highlighted how she ‘is great to work with’.

Carlos, Partner and Group Head of Appleby’s Private Client & Trusts practice in the Cayman Islands, is recognised as ‘an excellent lawyer’, with another industry commentator describing him as ‘fantastic, extremely professional and respectful’. In addition to his Band 1 ranking for the Cayman Islands, Carlos was also recognised in the ‘Expertise Based Abroad’ section of the British Virgin Islands rankings.

Jersey Dispute Resolution Partner Fraser Robertson (Band 3) is noted for his work representing high net worth individuals and corporate trustee in trust disputes, and as a ‘very experienced litigator’.

Bermuda Counsel Caljonah Smith is ranked as an ‘Associate to Watch’ and recognised for her work on advisory trusts matters, with one source describing her as ‘very good; I rate her highly’. Similarly, Cayman Counsel Esmond Brown, who is ranked as ‘Up and Coming’, is considered ‘fantastic’ and praised for his ‘really impressive work product and abilities’.
