Congratulations to Ellie Taylor who has collected an award at the National Paralegal Awards.

Ellie Taylor was named National Paralegal of the Year, Litigation at a dinner held in Birmingham UK on 22nd September, having made it to the finals for best Litigation Paralegal and Paralegal of the Year, South.

The Awards, organised by the Professional Paralegal Register and now in their second year are the only awards dedicated to rewarding and recognising the work of paralegals and law firms that support the development of the paralegal profession.  They aim to champion work undertaken across varying sectors in the UK and are open to anyone working within the Paralegal sector.

This award follows the recent relocation of Ellie from the UK to the Cayman Islands where she recently started work with Appleby in their Litigation department.

Ellie said “I’m delighted to have won ‘Paralegal of the Year Litigation.’ It’s a privilege with so many high achieving young practitioners competing for this award.”  “Clients are always at the heart of everything I do, so I feel honoured that my work has been recognised with such a prestigious award.”

Tony Heaver-Wren, Appleby’s Practice Group Head, Litigation said “I would like to congratulate Ellie for this significant achievement and am also pleased to welcome her to our team.”  He added “I look forward to seeing her broaden her expertise and support to our clients here in the Cayman Islands.”
