INSOL International is a world-wide federation of national associations for accountants and lawyers who specialise in turnaround and insolvency. The annual Channel Islands Seminar, in association with ARIES, will be taking place on Wednesday 10 September 2025 at the Radisson Blu Waterfront, Jersey.

Claire Corkish will be chairing the ‘Fraud & Fromage: A Criminally Good Tasting Experience’ session from 16.30 – 17.15 where panellists will present real-life cases of insolvency tricksters, fraudsters, and troublemakers — each one paired with a cheese that mirrors their characteristics. As each speaker unravels their case, they’ll drop subtle clues about the cheese they’ve selected. Delegates will then sample the cheese and attempt to guess its identity, testing both their fraud detection skills and their palate. Find our more here.
