They are a great fit for a dispute of any scale and complexity.”

The BVI team also maintained its rankings in the Banking, Finance and Capital Markets and Corporate & Commercial practice areas. Senior Associate Rebecca Jack was awarded a “Rising Star” ranking for her Corporate & Commercial work.

“It is excellent to have maintained our ranking levels across the practice areas,” said BVI office Managing Partner Jeffrey Kirk. “I applaud the teams and the individually ranked lawyers. This kind of accomplishment is a fantastic example of Appleby’s status as a leading international law firm with a wealth of experience and expertise and shows our ongoing dedication to providing world-class service to our clients.”

For over 40 years, Legal 500 has been analysing the capabilities of law firms across the world in well over a hundred jurisdictions, using a comprehensive research programme. The rankings are based on feedback from 250,000 in-house peers, client feedback and independent assessment of law firms’ deals and cases.

In addition to these rankings, Legal 500 Caribbean also recognised 20 lawyers from the Appleby Cayman office, and 50 Appleby lawyers overall including those from Bermuda and BVI.
