Skye is currently in her second year of Appleby’s legal trainee programme. She recently began her final seat in the Corporate department under the mentorship of George McCallum (Senior Associate).
“Being called to the Bermuda Bar is an incredible honor and a significant milestone in my legal journey. This path has been shaped by invaluable guidance from esteemed mentors across various firms and the unwavering support of my professors, whose advice and encouragement are deeply rooted in the foundation of my growth.
As the journey continues, I am eager to contribute meaningfully to the legal profession and to work alongside my learned friends within this distinguished community. I look forward to embracing new challenges, refining my skills, and making a positive impact within the legal sector,” shared Skye.
Jordan Knight commented, “Mentoring Skye during her pupillage has been a privilege and it is always good to see another Bermudian successfully completing their first year of our training program. Skye is thoughtful, driven and has the qualities of an exceptional attorney. I look forward to seeing her career flourish in the years to come.”
George McCallum said, “We are happy to have Skye as part of our team, and we are pleased on her admission to the Bermuda bar. Skye has demonstrated a keen interest in corporate work and made an effort to contribute to our team. We hope that following her admission, she will remain enthusiastic about legal practice and do her best to contribute positively to the profession. We congratulate her on her call to the bar.”
