In addition to the above, Appleby are also welcoming Andrew Harding and Richard Field as Partners in the Group’s Guernsey office, further strengthening their Corporate and Dispute Resolution teams.
Andrew Harding joins from the Appleby Isle of Man office. Andrew specialises in the formation, restructuring and termination of investment funds and has experience in a wide variety of alternative investment structures including listed funds, open-ended investment companies, limited partnerships and protected cell companies. His practice also covers insurance and reinsurance, mergers and acquisitions and financial services.
Advocate Richard Field has extensive experience acting for global financial institutions and joins Appleby after working in Guernsey for the last ten years. Richard specialises in corporate and commercial litigation, including banking, investment and funds litigation. He also advises on regulatory matters, including anti-money laundering (AML), sanctions and eGaming. As one of Guernsey’s leading data protection lawyers, he has advised and presented extensively on GDPR and its implementation locally, working closely with the States of Guernsey in the development of Guernsey’s new Data Protection Law.
Wendy Benjamin has also been appointed as Office Managing Partner of Appleby’s Jersey office and continues in her role as Managing Partner for the Guernsey office.
