Bio
Fatema holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours (LLB) from the University of Mauritius and successfully completed the Law Practitioners Vocational Examinations for Attorneys at the Council for Vocational and Legal Education.
She was admitted as Attorney-at-Law in November 2023.
Fatema has served her pupillage under the guidance of a Senior Attorney where she was involved in the preparation of cases in relation to a range of civil matters including company and insolvency law, succession, family law, landlord and tenant, property, Insurance, personal injury, public law matters and employment law disputes.
After completing her degree in Law, Fatema joined a Big Four audit firm as Associate in the Tax and Legal department where she gained significant experience and exposure on different areas of law.
She has an excellent understanding of both English common law and French civil law and speaks fluent English and French.
