Ruby is an associate within the Corporate Department in the Isle of Man.
She undertook her period of articles with Appleby from 2019 to 2021 and, after passing the Manx Bar Exams and being called to the Manx Bar, qualified into the corporate team in January 2022. Ruby assists across a broad range of corporate matters including banking and asset finance transactions, acquisitions, cross-border restructurings and corporate dissolution.

A highlight of Ruby’s trainee career with Appleby was assisting the corporate and insurance teams on Monument Re’s acquisition of the Charles Taylor Group’s Isle of Man operations, throughout which she gained invaluable experience in acquisitions and legal due diligence.

She graduated with a first class honours degree in Law from the University of Liverpool in 2018 following which she undertook a MSc in Law, Business and Management with the University of Law in 2019, incorporating the Legal Practice Course.
