Bio
Kilian Elkinson is a Senior Associate in the Dispute Resolution department of Appleby’s Bermuda office. He joined the firm in 2026.
Kilian specialises in complex commercial litigation and international arbitration, with particular experience in shareholder disputes, contractual claims, civil fraud, trust disputes, regulatory proceedings and contentious insolvency. He regularly acts in multi-jurisdictional matters for both claimants and defendants.
Prior to joining Appleby, Kilian practised in the London office of Quinn Emanuel, where he acted in major commercial litigation matters before the English courts, including a fraud claim amongst the longest and largest ever heard in the English Commercial Court, a multi-billion-dollar shareholder dispute including two expedited High Court trials and a Court of appeal victory, and a significant aircraft leasing dispute. He previously practised at Baker McKenzie in Sydney, where he acted in what is understood to be the largest insolvent trading case to proceed to trial in Australia, and served as Marshal to the then Chief Justice of Bermuda, Narinder Hargun.
