The awards recognise a law firm’s pre-eminence in key jurisdictions across Europe and also reflect achievements over the past 12 months including outstanding work, impressive strategic growth and excellence in client service.

News of Appleby’s shortlisting follows the firm being described as ’one of the few offshore law firms that do genuinely offer an integrated cross-border offering’ in the 2024 edition of the Chambers UK Guide, with 14 of its lawyers across the Group’s Guernsey, Isle of Man and Jersey offices gaining individual recognition. Appleby, which remains the only offshore law firm with a presence in all three Crown Dependencies, also secured Band 1 rankings for its expertise across Corporate and Finance; Dispute Resolution; and Employment.

For the 2024 edition of the Chambers FinTech Guide, which saw Appleby’s Guernsey and Isle of Man office both gain a Band 1 ranking, the Group was praised for its ‘exceptional ability to handle complex and sophisticated matters’.

Winners of the Chambers Europe Awards 2024 will be announced at a ceremony in Paris, France on 25 April 2024, with industry success being recognised across 30 categories.

A leading directory for the legal industry, Chambers ranks law firms and their lawyers across 200 jurisdictions worldwide based on independent research and analysis, including client feedback.
