Appleby Advises Investment Vehicles Managed or Advised by Sixth Street on Acquisition of Majority Stake in Monument Re
Appleby acted as Bermuda counsel to Sixth Street, a leading global investment firm, in connection with an agreement by certain investment vehicles managed or advised by Sixth Street to acquire a majority stake in Monument Re, a registered Bermuda life insurer.
Appleby advised on all Bermuda law aspects of the transaction, including advising on the structure, conducting an in depth corporate and regulatory due diligence review, and reviewing the transaction agreements and related documentation supporting the investment
