Jane is a Senior Associate within the Corporate Department of Appleby’s Bermuda office, advising clients in both the public and private sectors.
She has extensive experience in corporate and commercial law including banking, asset and project finance, aviation finance and registration, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and corporate re-structuring. Her practice also includes advising on all aspects of carrying on digital asset business in Bermuda and insurance related matters.
Jane rejoined Appleby in January 2023 having previously worked in the Banking and Asset Finance Team in the Bermuda office from 2008 to 2011.

- GLOBAL ATLANTIC, Advised Global Atlantic Financial Group in the $2.7 billion sale of its remaining 37% stake to KKR, increasing KKR’s ownership to 100%;
- AEGON, Appleby Bermuda acts as counsel to the Aegon group in connection with the proposed re-domiciliation of Aegon N.V. to Bermuda

Qualifications & Education
Jane graduated with a BA (Hons) in Business Studies from Thames Valley University before completing both the Common Professional Examination and Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law School. She was admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales in 1999.
