Claire has extensive experience in contentious and non-contentious trust and estate disputes as well as commercial and civil litigation. As a specialist in the resolution of complex disputes, Claire’s practice is principally contentious extending to advocacy, strategic expertise and tactical advice in domestic and multi-jurisdictional high-value litigation. Claire also advises on domestic and offshore wealth structuring and estate planning matters including the creation, restructuring and termination of trust structures, matters relating to trust administration, as well as probate and testamentary issues. She is ranked by Chambers and Partners High Net Worth 2025: Offshore Trusts Directory and is featured in the highly respected Private Client Global Elite Directory.
Carlos specialises in all aspects of Cayman Islands trust law advice and trust litigation. He regularly advises trustees and ultra-high net worth individuals on the establishment, restructuring and administration of trusts, and the use of private trust companies as well as providing advice to Protectors and beneficiaries on a variety of trust related matters. He also advises on estate planning and administration of estate issues for high net worth individuals. Carlos has substantial experience in relation to Cayman Islands and BVI trust litigation matters, acting on behalf of trustees, beneficiaries and Protectors in Court proceedings. He is recognised in the Chambers Global 2025 High Net Worth guide in ‘Band 1’ and ranked as a ‘Leading Partner’ by Legal 500. He is also featured in the highly respected Private Client Global Elite Directory.
