Appleby Launches Isle of Man Summer Internship Programme 2026

The three-week programme is designed for Isle of Man students with an interest in pursuing a legal career and provides valuable insight into life at a leading global law firm. Joining this year’s programme are university students Ify Anaziah, Denitsa Petrova, Hudson Sayle and Holly-Louise Talbot.

During their internship, students will gain hands-on experience across a range of legal and business support functions. They will rotate weekly through different departments, working alongside Appleby’s top-tier lawyers in Corporate and Dispute Resolution, as well as experienced colleagues in Compliance, IT and Marketing. Interns will be involved in a range of activities, including legal research, a moot trial, a local CSR initiative and a comprehensive programme of online and in-person training. Topics will include drafting court documents as well as diversity, inclusion and belonging.

The programme offers a unique opportunity for students to expand their professional networks, enhance their workplace skills and gain a greater appreciation of the diverse roles that contribute to the success of a law firm.
