Kathy Macdonald is a member of the Corporate group in the firms Cayman Islands office.
Kathy practices in advising on all matters relating to Cayman Islands funds and investment services, including the formation, establishment and dissolution of entities and on-going advice to mutual funds and hedge funds, master-feeder structures and the formation of stand-alone vehicles, including segregated portfolio companies, exempted limited partnerships, unit trusts and private equity structures as well as listing applications.
Prior to joining Appleby, Kathy was Legal Counsel for Bank of New York Mellon and Royal Bank of Canada specialising in fund formation and regulatory issues related to all administration and depositary services.
