Appleby is proud to announce that Phillip Cronje, a Senior Associate in its Isle of Man office, has been recognised in the 2026 eprivateclient Crown Dependencies NextGen Leaders list.

The 2026 eprivateclient Crown Dependencies NextGen Leaders list recognises rising stars across Guernsey, the Isle of Man and Jersey. Open to professionals in private client tax, trusts, dispute resolution, family law, accountancy and fiduciary services, nominees were awarded the accolade on factors including professional reputation, career progression, business development success, peer feedback and contributions to organisational culture.

Phillip joined Appleby’s Isle of Man Dispute Resolution team in 2023, having qualified as an attorney in South Africa in 2020. He has specialised in dispute resolution throughout his legal career and was admitted as an Advocate of the Manx Bar in January 2026.

Since joining Appleby, Phillip has worked on a range of complex contentious trust disputes. In addition to trust disputes, he also has experience in commercial, construction, property and insurance disputes and has successfully assisted clients in these areas in court and arbitration proceedings.

Commenting on the accolade, Phillip said, “I am very grateful for this recognition which would not be possible without the support, collaboration and mentorship of the excellent private client team at Appleby. I, together with the Appleby private client team, look forward to continuing to provide high level advice to our clients across jurisdictions.”
