John Wasty, Group Head of Dispute Resolution & Insolvency in Bermuda commented: “We are thrilled that two excellent young Bermudian lawyers have joined our growing and highly experienced team. Sam has practiced for more than four years in the Bermuda market. He has experience across the spectrum of commercial law with a particular focus on insolvency and restructuring, trusts and estates and contractual disputes. He is just as comfortable advising on cross-border matters as he is in local disputes. He appears regularly before Bermuda’s Supreme Court and tribunals and has been praised by Bermuda’s commercial judges for his able submissions.

Jordan was called to the Bermuda Bar in 2016 and his practice has gone from strength to strength. He brings to Appleby his particular experience in public law and employment matters. In addition Jordan has represented clients in the Supreme Court in a variety of commercial disputes including in commercial contract, mortgage enforcement, probate and estate, and property. He is also a member of the Medical Practice Conduct Board and the Bermuda Nursing Council which is a testament to his commitment to using his legal training to contribute to the community in Bermuda.
