Farhaan is an Associate Trainee within the corporate department in Mauritius.
His practice focuses on corporate matters as well as dispute resolution, and commercial legal work.
Prior to joining Appleby in February 2026, Farhaan gained professional experience at an international legal services provider, where he worked on complex legal and compliance projects for institutional and corporate clients. His worked involved legal research, risk analysis, contract review and regulatory-focused assignments across multiple jurisdictions. Farhaan is accustomed to high-volume and detail-sensitive legal work.
Farhaan also worked for the National Human Rights Commission of Mauritius and developed early exposure to public law and rights-based matters through institutional legal work, contributing to research and case preparation in matters involving statutory interpretation and procedural issues.
Farhaan is fluent in English and French.
