Bio

Dylan is a Partner in the Corporate Department in Guernsey.

Dylan has considerable expertise in a wide range of corporate, banking and investment fund matters. He specialises in banking and finance (including real estate finance, fund finance and security enforcement), M&A and investment funds.

He also advises on insurance matters including captives and reinsurance structures.

Dylan trained at Maples and Calder in Dublin. Prior to joining Appleby, he was a Partner at an international law firm in Guernsey.

Recognition

Dylan was named as a ‘Next Generation Partner’ in The Legal 500 UK 2026 Banking and Finance category and has been ranked since 2020. Dylan is praised for “constantly demonstrating his exceptional expertise and attention to detail without being too long-winded in his advice or losing his pragmatic approach. Qualifications & Education

Dylan qualified as an Advocate of the Royal Court of Guernsey in 2023.

Dylan qualified as a solicitor in Ireland in 2007 and in England and Wales in 2010.

Memberships & Associations

Dylan is an adjunct lecturer on the Guernsey Bar course.

Before moving to Guernsey, Dylan tutored on the Law Society of Ireland’s Professional Practice course and was an editor of Butterworths Company Law in Europe.
