Bio

Kate is a partner in the Corporate Department in Guernsey.

Kate has considerable experience in advising international and local clients and intermediaries on a wide range of mandates. She has particular expertise in banking and finance and corporate real estate matters as well as having a significant corporate and commercial practice. She also advises on the establishment and lifecycle of all types of investment structures, financial services and regulatory matters and insolvency and enforcement.

Kate trained and qualified at City law firm Withers LLP, where she worked for 10 years before relocating to Guernsey in 2006. Prior to joining Appleby, Kate was a partner at an international law firm in Guernsey for over 15 years.

Recognition

Kate is ranked as a “Leading Individual” in the Legal 500 for Banking and Finance and has been so ranked since 2017.

Kate is ranked as a Band 2 “Leader in their field” in Chambers UK, Europe and Global for Corporate and Finance and has been so ranked since 2017.

Kate was also ranked as a “Women Leader” and “Highly Regarded” by IFLR.
