Hong Kong Partner, Chris Cheng was named among Asian Legal Business’ top “40 Under 40” in their October edition of “The Next Generation of Asia’s Lawyers.” The annual list profiles the most accomplished lawyers in Asia under 40 years of age and showcases 40 outstanding legal professionals in the region, these lawyers have worked on significant deals and disputes in the past year and have earned accolades from their peers, superiors and clients.
Chris Cheng’s practice areas span corporate, M&A, IPO’s, equity capital, markets and debt capital markets. He has been part of a number of significant deals with Appleby, including an investment holding company’s HK$3 billion (USD 383 million) listing on the Main Board. Chris joined Appleby in September 2007, and became Partner in 2017.
