Charlotte has previously gained experience through her work at an international law firm in Hong Kong and prior to that, her role as an associate with an offshore firm working in their investment funds group.
Charlotte is a member of Appleby’s Funds and Investment Services team which advises clients on a wide range of services in relation to hedge funds, mutual funds, other collective investment schemes and a wide range of financial products. The team also advises established funds on their downstream transactional work and financing activities. They are able to provide expertise throughout the life cycle of the investment funds, and can provide managers, sponsors and general partners, together with directors, investors and creditors, with access to dispute resolution services whenever they are needed.

The offshore funds market has grown dramatically in recent years and Appleby’s funds lawyers are at the forefront of this development. Appleby Hong Kong’s funds team consists of nine people including four partners.
