Zoë is a Senior Associate within our Dispute Resolution Practice Group in the Cayman Islands.
Zoë is a highly seasoned litigator with more than 15 years’ experience of commercial litigation across a number of jurisdictions. Beyond general commercial litigation, Zoë has particular expertise in the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitral awards, cross border issues and professional negligence disputes.
Zoë has very substantial experience of large and complex litigation. She is involved in the management of some of the team’s most complex and high-profile matters. She collaborates with her clients and relevant stakeholders in a flexible and communicative manner, guiding clients through all aspects of a dispute.
Prior to joining Appleby, Zoë was with King & Wood Mallesons in Sydney, Australia. Whilst there she acted in some of the largest cases before courts in both Australia and the Solomon Islands. She has also worked at an international organisation in The Hague, and has a Master of Laws from the University of Michigan, USA.

Zoë was called to the Bar of the Cayman Islands in 2024. In addition, she is admitted as a lawyer in the Supreme Court of New South Wales and as a solicitor of the High Court of Australia.
Zoë was also admitted to the High Court of Solomon Islands in 2013 for the purpose of advising on a large piece of litigation in the High Court and Court of Appeal of Solomon Islands.
