Bio

Róisín is an Associate within the Dispute Resolution team in the Cayman Islands office. Her practice focuses on commercial litigation, restructuring and cross-border insolvency. Róisín also provides strategic knowledge management support as a professional support lawyer to the Cayman Islands, BVI and Hong Kong offices.

Before joining Appleby, Róisín practised as a barrister in Dublin at the Bar of Ireland where she advised on matters involving contractual interpretation, insolvency, restructuring and discovery processes in large scale litigation. She also held the role of knowledge lawyer at a leading Dublin law firm, where she supported multiple litigation practice groups with technical legal issues, training and document management.

Róisín was called to the Bar of Ireland in 2019 and the Bar of England and Wales in 2023. She holds an LL.B from the University of Limerick and completed part of her legal studies at Université Toulouse Capitole in France.
