Richard has 25 years of offshore and onshore experience specialising in private wealth, succession planning, trusts, family office, offshore structuring, economic substance, governance and related matters. Richard has expertise in the establishment and administration of offshore entities including trusts, companies and investment funds. He has significant experience in compliance, governance and account opening. Richard also has considerable involvement in private trust companies, family constitutions and succession planning.

Richard has lived and worked in Asia for over 12 years and is one of the leading offshore private wealth advisers in this region. He is a former Hong Kong STEP chair and a current executive committee member as well as sitting on special interest groups for STEP Worldwide. He is a member of the Hong Kong Trustees Association, regularly lecturing on Family Office and Trust matters for their Trust Training Certificate course. He is also an elected member of the International Academy of Estate and Trust Law.
