The Appleby London office was established to service clients based in London and other major European markets. The office complements activities of our offshore offices in Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands, Guernsey, Isle of Man, Jersey, Mauritius and the Seychelles and our offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Zurich. The lawyers resident in the London office do not advise on the laws of England and Wales. To assist and meet the needs of our client base in London, the office also utilises the services provided by our fiduciary and administration group of companies.

Our resident London lawyers handle matters independently in London and can also work closely with lawyers in the offshore locations to provide a wide range of legal advice on Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands law and can facilitate assistance with Jersey, Mauritius and Seychelles law. They advise on a variety of matters including the establishment of investment funds, special purpose vehicles and structured finance products, insurance companies and insurance products, securitisation, financing transactions and public and private holding companies.
