Rachael Rankin is the Managing Director of Appleby Global Services (Cayman) Limited and leads the company’s Corporate and Fiduciary Service offerings including Registered Office Services, Director & Trustee Services, Board Support Services, Liquidation Services, FATCA & CRS Services and Regulatory Services. She is responsible for the company’s day-to-day business operations, personnel management, risk management, corporate governance, business development, financial management and client relationship management.
Rachael has over 18 years of experience as a senior professional in the offshore financial services industry. Prior to joining AGS she held the position of Director, Capital Markets with a global corporate and fiduciary services provider where she successfully managed one of the teams and provided director, trustee, administration and registered office services to a wide range of private equity funds, holding companies, and special purpose vehicles involved in structured finance transactions.
She has wide ranging expertise in Asset Finance, Islamic Finance, CDOs/CLOs, Securitizations, Repackaging Vehicles and Note Programs and is instrumental with ensuring compliance with various local and global regulatory regimes.
Rachael holds a LLB (Hons) degree from the University of Liverpool and is a qualified attorney-at-law in the Cayman Islands, a Notary Public in the Cayman Islands, a Member of the Cayman Islands Directors Association, an Accredited Director by the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Canada and a registered director with the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority.
