Bio
Justin is an Associate in Appleby’s Dispute Resolution department.
Justin joined Appleby in Bermuda in 2022. He previously practiced at a leading national firm in Canada where he gained experience in a range of complex commercial disputes and worked on several high-profile cases. His experience includes the civil and injunction litigation in support of a nationally controversial Canadian pipeline, and more recently the post-trial and appeal of the largest damages award in Alberta history.
Before entering private practice, Justin worked in the Canadian oilfields in oil and gas pipeline construction as a pipeline crew foreman. He attended the University of Calgary for Political Science studies.

Qualifications & Education
Justin completed his Juris Doctor (JD) with distinction at the University of Saskatchewan, College of Law in 2016 where he received multiple scholarships and awards, including class prizes and top grades in Contract Law, Trusts and Securities Regulation. Justin then clerked at the Alberta Court of Appeal under the Honourable Justice B.K. O’Ferrall in Calgary, Canada. He was admitted to the Alberta Bar in February 2018.
