Jason Green is Director of Private Wealth and Advisory in the Bermuda office of Appleby Global Services (AGS) where he advises companies, ultra-high net worth individuals, single and multi-family offices on the structuring, management and administration of complex cross border investment portfolios comprised of various asset classes, including private equity.
Jason joined the AGS team in 2022 from Appleby where he was a Senior Associate in the Corporate department of the law firm and a member of the Insurance Team providing advice on various aspects of corporate law. Jason joined Appleby in 2009 and was called to the Bermuda Bar in 2010. His practice included a wide array of insurance and reinsurance matters involving captives, catastrophe bonds, special purpose insurers, long-term and general business commercial (re)insurers. He also specialized in providing structural and regulatory advice for new and existing (re)insurers, the Bermuda Monetary Authority’s licensing process for new (re)insurance structures, providing advice on eligible capital applications and segregated accounts companies.
Jason’s prior experience in the wealth management industry includes progressively senior roles as a relationship manager at Barclays Wealth in London, Lombard Odier Trust (Bermuda), Butterfield Trust (Guernsey and Bermuda offices) and also as a manager in the Private Clients division of the Bank of Bermuda’s offices in the Cayman Islands and Bermuda before their acquisition by HSBC Private Bank in 2004. Jason has also been a consultant and advisor to establish single (and multi) private family office platforms. In addition to being a Notary Public and Commissioner for Oaths, Jason holds a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) and is a full member of the STEP Bermuda Branch, he also speaks conversational Spanish after living in Spain and Colombia.
