Chambers and Partners, one of the leading international legal directories, recently published their Asia Pacific guide. Two experienced Appleby lawyers were ranked band two in the latest edition.

Appleby is one of the most well established offshore law firms in Asia with almost 30 years’ worth of experience operating in one of the world’s most highly regarded, dynamic and vibrant economies. Their Hong Kong office provides on the ground advice on the laws of Bermuda, Cayman Islands, British Virgin Islands and Jersey, in the areas of Corporate, Dispute Resolution and Private Client & Trusts.  They also facilitate the provision of legal advice in Guernsey, Isle of Man, Mauritius and the Seychelles.

Clients commended the firm for its excellent service levels with one commenting that the team is “responsive, technical and very experienced, providing practical legal advice.” and another noting “They’re approachable and they’re efficient in turning around the documents in an efficient manner.”

Judy Lee is acknowledged by clients to be “very experienced in the market” and noted her expertise in corporate finance and investment funds. Eliot Simpson was highlighted by the guide as best known “for his established track record on commercial litigation and restructuring and insolvency cases.”
