The inaugural meets will be held on two occasions, with the first on Saturday, 29 February at 10am and the second on Saturday, 28 March. The aim of the events is to provide a platform for young athletes to practice and hone their skills at a friendly competition with the opportunity to win trophies and cash prizes.

Norman Klein, Incoming Managing Partner, said that the event was in-line with Appleby’s charitable vision. “ [The Appleby Series Junior Meet] is a great event because it’s giving children an opportunity to participate in a great sport, but it’s also the inaugural event and we see it as having great potential and want to be involved from day one and see it through as it grows year on year.”
