Jerome will be speaking on the panel entitled ‘Untangling Economic Substance Rules’. Jerome’s practice includes, but is not limited to, advising on complex shipping matters, ship financing and other general matters. Tammy maintains a diversified business transactions practice, with emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, capital markets and securities, secured and unsecured lending transactions and general corporate governance matters. She has extensive experience working with clients in a wide range of industries, including in energy, oil and gas exploration, and maritime shipping. Tammy is a founding member and legal counsel of WISTA Bermuda, the Bermuda chapter of Women in Shipping and Trade Association, and BERMEPA (Bermuda Marine Environmental Protection Association Ltd.), a chapter of NAMEPA (North American Marine Environment Protection Association). Tammy is recognized by Legal 500 as a ‘Leading Individual’ in the Banking, finance and capital markets category and highly rated in the Corporate and Commercial category.
Tiffany’s practice includes cross-border mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, joint ventures, corporate finance, and secured and unsecured lending transactions, with extensive experience in the area of asset-financed transactions. Her practice also includes the registration of ships and aircraft in Bermuda and the incorporation of special purpose vehicles to acquire, manage or lease the same. Tiffany has advised both lenders and borrowers in numerous cross jurisdictional transactions.
