Appleby acted as Cayman counsel to Telecom Digital Holdings Limited (Telecom Digital) on its listing on the Growth Enterprise Market of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 30 May 2014, with net proceeds of approximately HK$77.7 million. Telecom Digital will use the majority of the net proceeds from the listing to expand its shop network and its head office, and to open a flagship store.

The Appleby team was led by Judy Lee, a corporate partner in Appleby’s Hong Kong office, assisted by Associate Jo Lit. Cheung & Lee in association with Locke & Lord advised Telecom Digital on Hong Kong law, and Rato, Ling, Vong, Lei & Cortés advised the company on Macau Law. Hastings & Co. advised the sponsors and underwriters on Hong Kong law.

Telecom Digital Group was founded in 1974 as one of the first paging operators in Hong Kong. In the past 40 years, Telecom Digital Group has been actively engaged in the telecommunications and related business in Hong Kong.
