• Acting for Tajik Aluminium Company, one of the world’s largest aluminium smelters, in connection with fraud claims in excess of US$400 million, involving the supply of raw materials at excessive prices and the purchase of finished aluminium at excessive discounts
• Advising on the liquidation of a British Virgin Islands incorporated insurance company, which is party to multiple fraud, misrepresentation, asset recovery claims and related litigation, and on instituting an innovative multi-party mediation process to deal with disputed claims
• Acting for three Isle of Man companies in a dispute with the Alfa Group (and others) concerning the ownership of the Kyrgyz cellular communications company Bitel
