Simon Cain is the Isle of Man Team Leader of the Corporate Finance team and is a partner in the Corporate & Commercial department. He deals mainly with corporate and asset finance matters, in particular, shipping finance, and advises generally in all matters of Isle of Man company law. He also has a great deal of experience in advising directors and corporate service providers on matters of Manx company law.

Simon was named as a 'Leader in his Field' by Chambers UK 2012. He was also named as a ‘Leader in his Field’ by Chambers Europe 2011 and 2010. He is ranked in the top tier of Chambers 2009 for Corporate and Finance and is noted as being 'very thorough and responsive, with excellent regulatory knowledge'. Clients particularly appreciate his 'good, easily digestible advice'. He handles a wide range of corporate and asset finance work, which is 'always of the highest quality'. He qualified as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 1993 and practised in local government for two years before returning to the Isle of Man in 1995 to join the firm. Simon re-qualified as an Isle of Man Advocate in 1997 and became a partner in 1999. In November 2011 Simon qualified as a solicitor of the Eastern Caribbean Surpeme Court, British Virgin Islands Circuit.
