Sabrina Foster is a partner in the Corporate and Commercial practice group and practices primarily in the area of investment funds and specialises in fund restructuring and unit trust structures.
Sabrina advises investment managers, promoters, fund operators and investors on a wide range of investment fund matters, including aspects of corporate governance and regulatory compliance. She is also a member of the firm's private client & trusts practice group and specialises in all aspects of commercial trust transactions. Sabrina was recognised as an “experienced practitioner” in the inaugural ranking of 2012 Legal 500 Caribbean for investment funds as well as in corporate and commercial. She was also ranked by PLC Which Lawyer? for her private client work (2011).
She joined the group in 2004 having previously worked at Turner & Roulstone and Walkers in the Cayman Islands.
Born in Jamaica and educated in the Cayman Islands, the Bahamas and Canada, Sabrina obtained an LL.B Honours degree from the University of Liverpool, England, graduating in 1995. Sabrina completed her Professional Practitioners Course through the Cayman Islands Law School and Queen’s University of Belfast, Northern Ireland. She was called to the Cayman Islands Bar in December 1997.
Sabrina is a member of the Cayman Islands Law Society and the Caymanian Bar Association. She is also a notary public.
