Judith Collis is the Global Practice Group Head of the Corporate a& Commercial department of Appleby.
Judy qualified in 1986 and joined the Corporate & Commercial department, practicing corporate law with a particular emphasis on mutual funds and securities work, and became a partner in the firm in 1991.
Her practice includes advising on a wide range of public and private offerings, merger and acquisition matters, for a number of Bermuda companies listed on the New York Stock Exchange, NASDAQ and the Bermuda Stock Exchange; advising on structuring and offering of public and private telecommunications holding and operating companies; advising on telecommunications law; and advising on joint venture structures for telecommunications and infrastructure projects.
Judith has been awarded many professional accolades throughout her career, most recently earning a rating for Financial and Corporate in the IFLR 1000 Law Firms and Lawyers Rankings, a listing as a key lawyer in The Legal 500 Recommended Leading Law Firms and Lawyers and a listing in PLC Law for Corporate/M&A (2010) and for Private Equity/Venture Capital (2011).
Judy is a Member of the Bermuda Bar Association and the International Bar Association.
