Eliot Simpson is a partner in the Litigation & Insolvency department at Appleby and heads the Litigation & Insolvency practice group in the British Virgin Islands. He spent nine years at Clifford Chance before joining a major offshore firm based in the Cayman Islands. Eliot then joined another major offshore firm based in Jersey, prior to joining Appleby in the BVI in 2008.

He has extensive experience in all areas of commercial litigation and corporate insolvency, including corporate disputes, fund disputes, trust and estate litigation, insurance and reinsurance dispute resolution, the enforcement of judgments and arbitration awards, and corporate bankruptcy, insolvency and restructuring.

Eliot received praise from clients in Chambers Global 2012 for being 'a very experienced practitioner and a very bright individual.'
