Brad Adderley is a partner in the Corporate & Commercial department and has been a member of the Insurance team for over fifteen years. Brad has a wide range of legal expertise and specialises in advising on insurance and reinsurance transactions, structuring segregated accounts transactions, private and public offerings, registrations on the NYSE, amalgamations of US corporations with Bermuda exempt companies, formation and structure of life companies and rent-a-captive companies.

In 2012 Brad was named as leading individual by Legal 500 for Insurance and Reinsurance. He was also recognized as a 'Leader in his Field' by Chambers Global 2012,  they also described him as 'attentive, responsive and enjoyable to work with' and that 'his dedication to insurance and reinsurance is acknowledged across the market'.

Brad graduated from the University of Wake Forest, North Carolina in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a minor in French. He gained his Diploma of Law and passed the legal Practice Course in 1995 & 1996 at The College of Law in Guildford, England. Brad was called to the Bermuda Bar in January 1998.

  • Marsh Inc. – acquisition of International Advisory Services Ltd., the largest independent manager of captive and third-party insurance companies in Bermuda (Sept 2009)
  • Print Management Limited - purchase of Independent Management Limited, an insurance management company
