Elaine Furbert joined Appleby Management (Bermuda) Ltd (formerly Reid Management Limited) as a consultant in October 1999.
She is responsible for providing accounting services for Appleby affiliates in the areas of trusts, liquidations, investments and special projects. She also provides management, accounting, reporting and payroll related service for a varied portfolio of client companies.
Elaine has lived and worked in Bermuda for almost thirty years and has garnered a wealth of work experience in both local and international business. She has worked in the areas of audit, reinsurance, trusts and investments.
From December 2006 to September 2010 she was General Manager (part time) of a start-up life reinsurance company and assisted in the set-up of the Bermuda office and the development and implementation of policies, procedures and control over the Treasury and reporting requirements.
Elaine qualified as a chartered accountant in 1981 and is an associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.
