Christine Grizzel joined the Appleby Group in 2007 as the Human Resources Manager.

She is fully versed in all aspects of Cayman Islands' employment, immigration, health and pension laws, and has responsibility for all immigration and personnel matters for the Cayman office, including recruitment, benefits, performance appraisals, work-permit applications, maintenance of personnel records and the administration of the firm's scholarship programme. Christine takes an active role in the firm's commitment to education by organising work experience and further education initiatives with the local schools.

Christine has extensive experience in the financial services industry, having worked at Maples and Calder in the Cayman Islands for 10 years. Prior to moving to the Cayman Islands in 1997, she was employed in the human resources departments at Bantam Doubleday Dell (now Random House) and Scholastic, Inc.

She holds a Master of Science in Human Resources and is a member of the Cayman Islands Society for Human Resources Professionals and the Society of Human Resource Management.
