Tanya Kozak is a senior associate and a member of the Funds & Investment Services team in the Corporate & Commercial department. Her practice focuses on the establishment of investment funds and she advises clients on a variety of legal issues and considerations relating to the operation of investment funds. Her practice also includes advising on company formation, corporate governance and the establishment of private equity funds and exempted limited partnerships.
Tanya joined Appleby’s Bermuda office as an associate in September 2007 and transferred to the Cayman office in March 2009. Prior to joining Appleby, Tanya worked with the law firm Borden Ladner Gervais LLP, in Toronto, Canada from 2001 to 2007. In 2000, after obtaining her LLB, she was a legal intern with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Ottawa, Canada.
