Nicola Bashforth is an associate in the Banking & Asset Finance team within the Corporate & Commercial practice group in the Cayman Islands office.
Nicola joined Appleby in May 2011 and has many years' experience as a Cayman Islands attorney practising in all aspects of corporate and commercial law and with specialist knowledge and experience in all structured products transactions, including CLOs, securitisations, repackagings, derivatives, corporate bond offerings and sovereign debt issuances; corporate finance; private equity; hedge funds and fund lending; other secured lending transactions; restructurings and acquisitions.
Prior to joining Appleby, Nicola was a senior associate at another offshore magic-circle law firm based in their Cayman Islands office. Prior to this, Nicola was an associate at Clifford Chance LLP, London in their International Securitisation Group.
