Marc Guillaume is a senior associate in the Private Client & Trusts department. He provides contentious and non-contentious trust services to high net worth individuals, international private banks and trust companies. He advises on all aspects of trust law, particularly specialising in foundations, pensions, employee benefits and charities. Prior to joining Appleby, Marc worked for a leading Channel Islands law firm.

He has a wealth of experience, acting for a wide range of professional trustees and both private and corporate settlors. He also has considerable knowledge in the establishment and operation of offshore structures for private clients.

Marc has contributed to a number of publications and most recently co-authored ‘A Foundation Stone for Continental Investors’, an article written on the recently introduced Foundations (Jersey) Law 2009, which appeared in the October 2008 edition of The Jersey and Guernsey Law Review.

Qualifying as an English barrister in 1993, Marc was sworn in as an Advocate of the Royal Court of Jersey in 1998.
