Li Lee Tan

Li Lee Tan is Counsel in the Corporate & Commercial department in the Hong Kong office. She practises a full range of corporate/commercial law, specialising particularly in mergers and acquisitions, advising on public and private offerings of debt and equity, restructurings, structured and other finance matters.

Li Lee also advises on Bermuda, BVI, Cayman and Jersey trusts, for private as well as corporate clients.

Clients include numerous Bermuda, Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands entities, many of which are listed on Nasdaq, the New York Stock Exchange, the Singapore Securities Exchange and Trading Limited and the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong. Transactions advised on involve clients based in Asia, including the People’s Republic of China, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, as well as in Australia and New Zealand.

Prior to joining Appleby in 1999, Li Lee practised corporate commercial law in Singapore, Hong Kong and Tokyo. She is fluent in English, Mandarin (Putonghua) and Cantonese and is competent in Japanese.
